ártyco is integrated by conservators trained in several fields, such as architecture, infographics and history, with the contribution of petrologists, chemists, engineers, physics, biologists and archaeologists. ártyco offers a sound competence in human resources, experience, collective understanding and unity of criteria as the best guarantee for effective and successful results.

Every ártyco project, preliminary study and intervention on an object is based on two main premises: its cultural and documentary heritage and its artistic value. We examine the material and mechanical character of the object and we focus on the importance of plastic impression and the need to recognize the artistic style and its correct historical interpretation.

Any intervention will not be completely effective if previously the inner causes provoking the alterations in the object are not identified and if the theoretical knowledge needed for correcting them are not present. Not only knowledge directed at conservative interventions, but also all the considerations to ensure the preventive conservation demanded by the enviroment. In ártyco the artistic object is global entity aprehended from different points of view. Its conservation and restoration goes far beyond the simple ornamental surface. Actually, we deem as necessary to conceive it as something undissociated from the structural and plastic system to which it belongs. Only in this way it is possible to offer a honest, coherent and effective final result.
